United Way Manitowoc County is welcoming Angelica Schmitt to their team as the new Director of Impact Strategies.
Schmitt is coming in with 9 years of nonprofit knowledge with advocacy, outreach, community organizing, and leadership skills as well as a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from the University of Wisconsin- Stout.
While attending Stout, she received the Chancellor’s Award of Academic Excellence.
At United Way, Schmitt will be overseeing the organization’s impact focus areas which include basic needs, early childhood, and youth development.
Ashley Bender, the Executive Director expressed her excitement for Angelica to join the team saying, “She comes to us with experiences that will grow our impact work with current community partners and beyond.”
