A 42-year-old Manitowoc resident has been arrested after attempting to board a stranger’s boat.
The call came around noon on Thursday (August 3rd) where they reported that the suspect had appeared agitated and was acting erratic at Blue Rail Beach.
The Manitowoc Fire Department attempted to assist the suspect, but they refused help.
The Manitowoc Police Department later arrived on the scene, where the suspect also resisted their efforts.
After swimming around the area for half an hour, authorities were able to take the resident into custody.
They were brought to Holy Family Memorial Medical Center for medical clearance.
The resident has been charged with Disorderly Conduct, Obstructing an Officer, Resisting Arrest, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
