A research study conducted earlier this year has revealed new information on how Americans view their jobs.
The survey directed by Pew Research Center found “only 44% of workers are extremely or very satisfied with their opportunities for training/ways to develop new skills”.
This feeling of deficiency can be a reason for employee turnover.
Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland offers employers the chance to improve employees’ skill sets with their Workforce Solutions division.
The are several seminars starting this fall that cover topics in business, communications, safety, and compliance.
The Lakeshore Associate Dean of Economic Development, Lucas Dulmes, explained, “Learning opportunities help employees and employers keep up and grow with technology, leadership development, strategic planning, and industry trends”.
