Law enforcement authorities arrested 3 fleeing suspects early today following an attempted traffic stop in the Village of Denmark. According to Brown County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Jason McAuly, his agency along with the Green Bay Police Department tried to conduct the stop about 3:45 a.m. on a vehicle suspected in criminal activity on northbound I-43 near State Highway 96. When the driver failed to stop for officers, tire deflation devices were used and the vehicle left the interstate near Langes Corners Road in the Town of New Denmark, winding up in a cornfield. All three occupants fled on foot with two of them captured almost immediately. The 3rd suspect was located around 6:30 this morning thanks to the assistance of a K-9 unit.
