A 31-year-old Sheboygan man died and a child was injured late yesterday afternoon as the result of a 2-vehicle crash in the Town of Sheboygan.
The accident report shows the victim was southbound in his car on I-43 at State Highway 23 just before 4:30 pm when he lost control of the vehicle and crossed into the path of a semi-tractor trailer.
The driver of the auto suffered fatal injuries while a 3-year-old passenger received minor injuries and was transported to Aurora Medical Center of Sheboygan County.
Sheriff’s Sergeant Jesse James Smith said the operator of the semi was not injured and the crash remains under investigation.
The names of those involved in the collision are not being released at the time.
