The July monthly report from the City of Manitowoc Department of Building Inspection shows 5 commercial projects out of the top 10 under construction are in excess of $1 million.
Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry’s new addition comes in at nearly $4.8 million, followed by a paper pellet storage facility by Bright Horizon Prop on N. 8th Street at almost $4.4 million.
Then, it’s Kwik Trip’s $2 million expansion at 2315 Menasha Avenue, a warehouse for Seehafer Spec. Logistics on Viebahn Street at $1.8 million and Robinson Metal’s Loading Dock addition at $1.5 million.
Meanwhile, new residential housing starts so far this year come in at $5.9 million, compared to $6.9 million for all of 2022.
