A 40-year-old Manitowoc man has been arrested after his fifth OWI.
At around 12:30 Thursday morning (August 17th) police received an anonymous complaint that an intoxicated individual was attempting to enter his own vehicle and drive at Vans Bar.
The complaint explained that the individual had been kicked out of the bar because they were very intoxicated.
Police responded to the area and located the vehicle northbound in the southbound lane on North 8th Street.
The responding officer stopped the vehicle in the 800 block of Huron Street where the individual displayed signs of intoxication.
The individual was taken into custody where a blood test was conducted.
He has been charged with a fifth OWI and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
