State Senator Andre Jacque says that most of what is on the agenda is getting everything set for the fall floor period.
While on the WCUB Breakfast Club, he said that he hopes that there will be more legislation working through the process since the pace has been slower recently.
Jacque says that the Dillon Mueller legislation is currently being worked on, following his tragic death surrounding the lack of epinephrine for an allergic reaction.

Jacque said of the series of Dillon’s Laws, “Continuing to work with the Mueller family, and it really is life-saving legislation that so many other states are looking to now and very proud to be a part of that.”
Andre Jacque says that less than twenty bills have been signed into law, but September 12th-15th will be the next floor period, where more bills will be discussed.
He also mentions the increased funding for the Youth Apprenticeship program that he pushed.
He says he is “pleased” to continue to offer opportunities for high school students, as the Manitowoc County area is a leader in the state.
It’s been a busy few weeks, according to Jacque, but there is always more to come.
