On Broadway, Inc. has reached its fundraising goal, making it possible to build the dog park in the Broadway District of Green Bay.
It will now be known as the Vital Essentials Dog Park due to their generous donation as the Naming Rights Sponsor, alongside other donors.
It will be constructed at 325 North Broadway in a vacant lot owned by the City of Green Bay Redevelopment Authority (RDA).
The dog park will include fencing around the perimeter with double-gated entry to ensure the safety of all dogs and humans.
There will be a waste station, as well as plenty of shade and seating for the humans, but also various play features, obstacles, and a water-drinking area for the dogs.
Construction is estimated to begin at the end of September and there will be a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at a later date, to be announced soon.
