For the 18th year one of the largest kite festivals in the Midwest returns this weekend at Two Rivers High School.
This Saturday and Sunday (September 2nd and 3rd) from 11:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m., Kites Near Lake Michigan will feature displays of giant show kites, stunt teams performing aerial ballet with their kites along with colorful ground displays.
There will be free kite-making from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. along with food and non-alcoholic beverages.
This event is a fundraiser for all local non-profit service clubs, to support local scholarships and community projects.
