Three people were killed last night as the result of a single-vehicle crash in the Manitowoc County Town of Eaton.
Sheriff Dan Hartwig said this morning (today) that a male driver was traveling westbound on County Highway C about 7:45 p.m. when he failed to stop for a stop sign at a T intersection with State Highway 67.
The car proceeded to enter the ditch before colliding with a pole barn.
The driver along with a female and male passenger were all pronounced dead at the scene.
No further information as to the victims’ ages or identities is being released at this time as the crash remains under investigation.
The Wisconsin State Patrol is completing a reconstruction of the crash.
Other Agencies assisting the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office included Kiel Police, Fire and Rescue, St. Nazianz Fire Department and First Responders, Valders Fire and Ambulance, Manitowoc County Coroner’s Office, County Highway Department, Hi-Way 42 Garage and the County Joint Dispatch Center.
