It has been reported that Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for the New York Jets, will not be playing for the remainder of the season.
According to multiple sources, an MRI has confirmed that Rodgers suffered a complete tear of his left Achilles tendon during Monday Night Football.
The Jets had acquired Rodgers in a trade from the Green Bay Packers during the offseason.
Zach Wilson, a former first-round draft pick, will resume the starting position for the Jets.
