The 59th Studebaker Drivers Club International Meet had a good first day in Manitowoc.
Wisconsin Studebaker Club President Steve Kanter says more people will show up.
“Were expecting over 200 cars and probably 1,000 people just from the club,” he says. “Plus, what we can bring in from the public at the end of the week. Hopefully another 500 people.”
The public will be able to see the cars today during the Studebaker Parade to Two Rivers from 6 pm to 9 pm starting at the UW-Green Bay Manitowoc Campus and going to the cool city.
After the parade leaves the campus and starts up S. 10th Street, it will go all the way to Washington Street, then left on S. 8th Street.
After that, the parade will go right onto Maritime Drive to Memorial Drive.
Then the parade continues all the way to Two Rivers.
Residents will also get the chance to go to meet on Friday and Saturday.
Kanter says there will be a Sock Hop at the Manitowoc Expo Grounds on Friday.
It costs $10 to get in.
On Saturday anyone can come to the club meet and see the Studebakers for free.
Car enthusiasts could also enter their car for $10 for the All Make Car Show.
