A Manitowoc woman has been charged with disorderly conduct and spitting on a police officer after several incidents yesterday evening.
Manitowoc Police say the 42-year-old woman first went into a home in the 2000 block of Marshall Street and asked where she could find someone named “Stitch.”
Police say the homeowner asked her to leave because she entered without permission and that a person she wanted to meet didn’t live there.
She would allegedly return two more times.
The third time the woman allegedly came at the homeowner with a brick before she left heading toward 21st Street.
Police later found the woman at the Tabacco Outlet on Washington Street and talked to another person who saw the woman looking in the windows of their apartment on 21st Street.
Police say the person told them she again asked for “Stitch” and allegedly said she was looking to buy meth.
When confronted, police say she denied everything and was placed under arrest.
While they were searching, the woman started yelling that the officer was molesting her and would later allegedly spit in the officer’s face.
She was later taken to the Manitowoc County Jail.
