The city of Manitowoc is going to start its 2023 leaf pick-up program on October 2nd.
The city says leaves will be scheduled to be picked up once a week when they pick a street to clean up.
There will also be parking bans between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. during street sweeping.
The city will start putting informational flyers on people’s cars starting September 25th.
The parking ban will be in effect until November 17th. The city doesn’t want brush or garden waste when they sweep the streets.
The city also reminds drivers not to park on a leaf pile in the street.
