A Manitowoc man accused of stabbing someone with a butcher knife has pleaded not guilty.
60-year-old David Downs was in Manitowoc County Court last week Thursday in Judge Mark Roher’s courtroom.
Downs allegedly stabbed a person in the 400 block of Riverview Drive in May before he ran into his house.
Police say he was arrested after a taser was used to stop him from resisting.
The victim told police they weren’t sure what caused Downs to shove them to the ground and stab them. Downs will be back in court on October 20th.
