The groundbreaking ceremony for the 2023 house construction project took place on Tuesday.
The project will mark the 26th home built by High School students enrolled in Career and Technical Education classes offered by the Sheboygan Area School District.
The ceremony took place at the construction site in the Stonebrook Crossing Subdivision on the south side of Sheboygan.
The program included a welcome from Academic and Career Planning Coordinator Jason Duff, as well as Superintendent Seth Harvatine, both of whom thanked the community for support and emphasized the need for these school-to-work learning experiences within schools.
