The Manitowoc Fire/Rescue Department recently made a donation to the Muscular Dystrophy Association thanks in to the generosity of the community.
Firefighters and EMS held their annual Fill the Boot campaign late last month where they stood at the corner of 10th and Franklin Streets collecting money for the organization.
The campaign was deemed a massive success, as they were able to present a $10,000 check to the organization.
In a post on Facebook, the Manitowoc Firefighters Union Local 368 stated, “Big shout out to the Citizens of our great Community, for helping us reach our goal this year for our Fill the Boot for MDA. Without your donations we would not have been able to make that happen!”
