The 5th ranked Manitowoc Lincoln Girls Volleyball team split a pair of matches over the weekend at the West Bend East Invite.
The Ships opened play with a 2-oh sweep of the Hartford Orioles on Friday before facing the state’s 3rd-ranked Division-1 team, Appleton North, Saturday.
Lincoln was defeated by the Lightning 2-games to 1, dropping their season record to 11-and-5.
Coach Mary Beth Dixon’s squad returns to FRCC action Tuesday evening when they host Sheboygan South in a 7:00 p.m. start at the JFK Fieldhouse.
