There is a new clothing store in the same building as Shades of Paradise on Quay Street in Manitowoc.
Eden is the name of the store that was remodeled by Bryanna and Brett Jensen.
Bryanna says the name Eden ties into Shades of Paradise.
“So we looked in the Bible for different plants that could tie into the theme over there of what was going on over there,” she explained. “When we came across paradise in the Bible it meant Eden.”
She also says the new store is meant for everyone.
“There’s clothing, all-inclusive from baby all the way up to 4X,” she describes. “We have cards and a kind of a little bit of giftables, kitchen items, a little bit of everything for everybody.”
There is also a section that features four to five products from other local businesses.
She says people who might be waiting for their haircut or tan can also shop at Eden while they wait.
She and Brett say the community has already been very supportive of new businesses.
“We’ve had several pop-up events at some local businesses,” Brett explains. “And it’s been a great success, people love it. Bryanna continues saying “It has been overwhelming to see the community’s response. People that we’ve never even met already supporting us and excited to be here.”
Eden is open from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and closed on Sunday.
