The city of Manitowoc could be moving forward by condemning the mid-cities mall property and the parking areas around it.
The city will discuss their options at next Tuesday’s Committee of the Whole Meeting.
A company called Tycore out of Green Bay is also looking at purchasing the property and turning it into residential housing with a regional storm pond and connecting trails.
Tycore CEO Wade T. Micoley says the possible redevelopment could bring between $47 and $54 million in market value to the city.
The Committee of the Whole meeting is set for October 3rd starting at 5pm.
