Lakeshore area residents will have an opportunity this weekend to help a family that’s helped hundreds of people dealing with cancer.
“Rockin For Rob” is a memorial fundraiser for the Roseff family at The Wharf on Sunday, October 8th.
Close family friend Randy Heinzen tells Seehafer News “It’s going to run from 1:00 to 6:00. We have live music from the Stringbenders along with other special guests appearing. It should be a fun afternoon to again honor Rob’s life and a chance to do something extra special for the Roseff family.”
Wharf owner, Brennan Seehafer, came up with the idea for the fundraiser to defray the expenses that mounted during the course of Rob’s cancer treatments.
“Things like those hotel stays when Rob was in the hospital and Denise was at Mayo’s, and the gas money and all those expenses add up,” Heinzen noted. “We’re about a month beyond Rob’s passing and still there are so many people who want to do something to help.”
Those attending “Rockin For Rob” Sunday can partake in Basket Raffles, a 50/50 Raffle along with Food & Drinks.
