The Wisconsin State Park Board of Directors has awarded the Friends of Point Beach for their work.
The Hero Award was given for Outstanding Friends Group.
Friends of Point Beach have done several projects recently including the Shipwrecks of Rawley Point exhibit, getting Action Track Wheelchairs that can drive on any terrain, and establishing the First Hike on New Year’s Day.
The award recognizes the FOPB for all they’ve done.
Two Rivers City Manager Greg Buckley says it’s an active group that’s doing a lot of great things.
