Some benches that were reported stolen before Sputnikfest weren’t actually stolen but taken by accident.
That’s what Rahr-West Museum Executive Director Greg Vadney tells Seehafer News.
He says he believes the person thought the benches put out in front of the museum were free when they were taken Wednesday night.
Vadney says he left a note on the benches that were left afterward saying they weren’t free and were being used for the event.
The person came back, saw the note, and left.
They would later come back and return the benches they took.
No charges are being filed in the incident.
