Applefest returns to Two Rivers for a 39th year. The festival takes place this Saturday (October 14th) from 9:00 to 3:00 p.m. in Central Park and surrounding areas.
Colleen Inman with the Two Rivers Rotary Club says that nothing has changed but there will be plenty to do.
“We have food trucks, the Rotary Club of Two Rivers has a food booth, there are apple vendors, and there are activities for kids,” she revealed. “We have bounce houses lined up and face painting. We also have entertainment on the stage in Central Park as well.”
Besides bushels of apples that will be sold, there will be caramel apples and hot apple cider.
Inman says the event was started by the Two Rivers Lions Club and was taken over by the Rotary Club when Lions wanted to stop doing it.
