The Highway 42 resurfacing and culvert repair project that started in March is completed.
Brian Haen with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation says the painting was finished yesterday (October 11th) because of the rain today.
The project included repairing 30 to 40 culverts plus resurfacing and repainting a part of Wisconsin 42 from 35th Place in Two Rivers to north of Lakeshore Road in the town of Two Creeks.
It also included adding rumble strips to the centerline and shoulder plus winding paved shoulders from 3 feet to 5 feet.
Haen says there might be some miscellaneous side project done next week, but the important work is done.
The project cost about $8.3 million.
