A popular church festival returns to the city of Brillion this evening (October 20th).
The 23rd Holy Family Parish Fall Fest is happening at Cobblestone Creek on Highway 10.
Katie Micksch, Volunteer Coordinator at Holy Family Parish, said doors open at 5:00 this afternoon.
“We will have our second year of having some live music by The Local Favorites from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. and then hors d’ oeurves will be starting at 6:00 p.m. and going through 9:00 p.m.,” she explained. “Those are free as long as you come in the door. It’s free admission, we just ask you to come and enjoy the night, the many raffles and the live and silent auctions.”
Micksch explains that proceeds from Fall Fest will go toward daily operational expenses at their new school which just opened in February.
She called the school a “beautiful facility” and revealed that their enrollmentthis year “has gone up quite substantially so it’s amazing to see what a beautiful new facility and amazing teachers and staff can bring in.”
She added they still have tickets to sell for their large raffle which is a 4-wheeler giveaway along with cash prizes.
