It is the Regional championship Saturday in High School Girls Volleyball and Boys Soccer.
In Division-1 Volleyball tonight, number-1 seeded Manitowoc Lincoln plays host to Germantown in a 7:00 o’clock start at the JFK Fieldhouse.
In Division-3: Manitowoc Lutheran, with a 3-seed, travels to 2nd seeded Oostburg and #1 seed Howards Grove is home for #4 Cedar Grove-Belgium. And, in a D-4 Regional finale tonight, Hilbert visits Oshkosh to meet top-seeded Valley Christian.
In Boys Soccer, the Kiel Raiders host Roncalli for a 7:00 o’clock match, while the #1 seed in the Sectional, St. Mary Catholic, will host the co-op of Howards Grove/Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah.
Another top seed, Oostburg, is home this evening to face Madison Country Day/Abundant Christian/Saint Ambrose.
All the winners advance to the Sectional.
This is also a big day for area high school cross-country runners.
Manitowoc Lincoln and Lutheran are co-hosting a WIAA Sectional D-1 and D-3 today at Meadow Links Golf Course.
The Ships are the only local squad competing in Division-1 while the Lancers and Roncalli Jets are joined by other local runners representing Valders, Mishicot, and Reedsville.
The race schedule begins this morning at 11:00 with Boys Division-3, Boys Division-1 at 11:30, Girls Division-3 at noon, and Girls D-1 at 12:30.
