The Menasha woman who was arrested for stealing a car from a Manitowoc dealership has been sentenced.
19-year-old Alexis Renee Marusa was found guilty due to a no-contest plea on a charge of Burglary to a Building or Dwelling, and Judge Mark Rohrer withheld sentencing and placed her on probation for three and a half years.
Additional charges of Driving or Operating a Vehicle Without Consent, Criminal Damage to Property, and Resisting or Obstructing an Officer, all as a repeat offender, were dismissed but read into the record.
Marusa was arrested in April after she stole a vehicle from the Van Horn dealership in Manitowoc.
During the theft, Marusa broke a window and took numerous key fobs, a crime that her mother told police she had committed in the past.
As part of her probation, Marusa must pay Van Horn $698 in restitution and undergo any assessment, treatment, or counseling as deemed appropriate by the court.
