Bail is set at $400 cash for a 58-year-old Appleton man after authorities located him last Friday hitting his head against a building and screaming.
Charles A. Cantrell III has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia along with two counts of Bail Jumping.
Police learned that Cantrell had been kicked out of a hotel he had been staying at, then found him at the former Capone’s bar on Manitowoc’s southside acting very animated having conservations with himself.
Officers brought him back to the hotel to grab his things and told him to leave.
An investigation revealed that a small clear bag, allegedly containing meth was found and Cantrell was taken to The County Jail without further incident.
The lone condition of bail is that Cantrell III maintain “absolute sobriety”.
He remains in The County Jail with an initial appearance scheduled for November 6th at 1:30.
