An argument outside of the Golden Flame restaurant led to an arrest by Manitowoc Police.
Officers were called to the restaurant on Custer Street involving a woman who was leaving after the altercation. Police were able to find her vehicle on 26th Street.
The 61-year-old suspect said she was accused of stealing two phones at the restaurant, so she got upset and decided to walk across the street to the Walgreens ATM to get the money to pay for her food and leave.
She claimed there was no physical altercation.
The other person involved said the argument started over who was paying the check when the woman went and got money to pay for the meal.
When both people got to the parking lot, the victim claimed that the woman removed their items from a car hit them with a phone, and punched them.
The suspect got into the vehicle and drove around the parking lot before getting back out.
An employee at the restaurant confirmed what happened and the woman was arrested and charged with battery and disorderly conduct.
She was taken to the Manitowoc County Jail.
