The city of Two Rivers could stop an agreement they signed with Charter to give TV access to city council meetings.
The city spent about $27,000 to try and update equipment to get the council meetings back on television when Charter announced they couldn’t broadcast them.
Council President Adam Wachowski says many people like to watch the meetings on TV because some people aren’t good with getting online to watch them.
Council Member Darla LeClaire thought that creating a local newspaper might be a good idea if the city gets the money, it invested back.
The council took no action on it during Monday’s meeting.
But it could be discussed at a future Plan Commission meeting.
