A Former Manitowoc Public Utilities commissioner was honored at a recent Public Utilities Commission meeting.
Mark Seidl served on the MPU Commission for the last 25 years and according to MPU, has been a vital member.
Commission President Dave Diedrich says “Mark played a role in many of the major undertakings at MPU, including selling water to the Central Brown County Water Authority, the development of Great Lakes Utilities, and many other projects that helped improve the quality of life for the ratepayers of Manitowoc.
He always made sure we had safe and reliable services at affordable rates.
He was a valuable member of the Commission, and his input will be missed.”
The commission also welcomed a new member of the board during the meeting. Betsy Roberts will take over as commissioner after working for Briess Industries.
