Green Bay Police are searching for two suspects involved in a shooting on the city’s west side Monday afternoon.
Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of Badger Street and Badger Lane about 2:30 p.m.
It was discovered that a male driver, identified as a 20-year-old Green Bay man, was involved in a shooting which is believed to have occurred in the 1600 block of Christiana Street and caused a head-on crash while driving himself to a hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound.
He then fled on foot to get help and remains hospitalized with what are described as “serious injuries.”
The driver of the other vehicle, a 32-year-old Green Bay woman, was reported to have suffered “minor injuries.”
No further details are being released currently as the investigation is ongoing.
