A 37-year-old man has been charged with his 4th OWI.
Manitowoc Police say an officer pulled over an Audi A4 Thursday morning because its lights weren’t on.
When the officer saw the man roll down his window, police say the officer noticed a moderate odor of intoxicant coming from the car and noticed the driver had slurred speech.
The officer asked how much the man had to drink and the suspect said, “A couple beers.”
After police had the man do a field sobriety test, they asked him if he would do a breath test to which the man said “Well I’m going to have to anyway, right?
The man ended up being over the legal limit and was arrested.
He was taken to Holy Family Memorial to get blood drawn before being taken to the Manitowoc County Jail.
