Christmas came early for some local veterans.
The Patriot Riders of America WI Chapter 2 spent the weekend at Felician Village and Manitowoc County Health and Rehab, visiting veterans through a mission they called “Operation Merry Christmas Veterans”.
The biker group hand-delivered goodie bags with treats and Christmas cards to veterans receiving medical care and thanked each and every one of them for their service to our country.
Additionally, one veteran named Sandra was celebrating her birthday, so the club sang Happy Birthday to her.
Club Treasurer Jenny Matte also notes, “We’d like to thank Zoe from Felician Village and Calla from Manitowoc County Health and Rehab for taking us around and introducing us to our Veterans. We hope to visit another location this next weekend.”
