The 2023 Lakeshore Holiday Parade had a lot of great floats, but eight of them won over the judges this year.
Awards were given out Monday (December 18) during the Manitowoc Common Council meeting by Visit Manitowoc’s Director of Tourism, Courtney Hansen.
Three businesses won holiday spirit awards, including Alliance Laundry Systems, Just Orthodontics, and the Manitowoc Marine and Valders High School bands.
Five businesses won the judge’s choice, including the Lincoln High School band, Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry, Chewy’s Bar, Manitowoc Heating, and K9 Perfection Dog Obedience.
The big winner who won the Best in Parade was Broadwind Heavy Fabrications.
Because they were picked, Santa Claus will be featured on their float next year.
Registration for next year’s parade will happen after the 2024 4th of July parade.
