Two people have pleaded not guilty in their respective Manitowoc County court cases.
Kristyaunity R. Mead has been charged with child abuse with intent to cause harm.
She allegedly threw her phone at a child in October and punched the child with closed fists.
Her bail has been updated to a $1,000 recognizance bond after she was first given $500 cash.
Conditions of bail were also updated to include that Mead can’t have any “assaultive” contact with the victim.
Her next court date is not yet known currently.
Also, Charles A. Cantrell is pleading not guilty to charges including possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and four counts of bail jumping.
Police arrested him after he was found hitting his head against a brick building and screaming at a bar in October.
