Bail is set at $2,000 recognizance for a 38-year-old Manitowoc man after police found him passed out in his vehicle.
Travis J. Novak is facing charges of Possession of Fentanyl and Drug Paraphernalia along with one count each of Felony and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
Officers responded to the intersection of East Reed Avenue and Johnston Drive Wednesday morning, where they found Novak hunched over in his SUV, still in drive.
A baggie containing drugs, along with several items of drug paraphernalia, was discovered in his vehicle.
After being treated at a local hospital, he admitted to taking fentanyl, refusing to say where he got the drug from.
The lone condition of bail is that Novak maintains “absolute sobriety,” and his initial court appearance is scheduled for January 22nd at 1:30.
