Bail is set at $500 cash for a 40-year-old man after causing a disturbance New Year’s weekend at a Manitowoc Kwik Trip.
Heiden P. Hippert, who gave no address to the court, is facing charges of Disorderly Conduct, Resisting, Criminal Damage to Property, and three counts each of Felony and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
Officers were sent to the south 42nd Street business on New Year’s Eve for a report of a man yelling and who had kicked over a cigarette container.
They located Hippert at a nearby KFC restaurant, who fell twice as he fled on foot back towards Kwik Trip.
He told police he was homeless and didn’t even know his own name. Officers took Hippert into custody after learning that he had several open cases on his record.
The lone condition of bail is that Hippert has “no contact” with either Kwik Trip or KFC.
He remains in The County Jail, with his initial appearance scheduled for January 8 at 1:30.
