The Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve is offering an opportunity to spend some time outdoors.
On select dates throughout the month, including this Friday and Saturday (January 5th and 6th), families, individuals, and their dogs are invited to walk or snowshoe on a 1.25-mile candlelit trail through the woods of the preserve.
The hike is being held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at 2024 Lakeview Drive in Suamico.
Preregistration is required and costs $5 per person, though children 2 and under get in free.
Attendees also have the option to rent snowshoes for an additional $5, based on weather and availability.
