A Green Bay man allegedly involved in a deadly Christmas day crash is getting a preliminary hearing.
38-year-old Philip Slezewski was in Judge Robert Dewane’s courtroom yesterday (January 8th) afternoon.
A public defender representing Slezewski asked that the defense waived the reading of the criminal complaint and asked for the hearing.
Dewane scheduled it for Thursday, January 11th at 10:30 am.
Slezewski allegedly crashed his car on I-43, knowing he was driving on a suspended license, and caused the deaths of relatives, 38-year-old Heather Arcaro-Slezewski and 71-year-old Clarice Slezewski.
He also crashed into another SUV that injured two other people.
Slezewski is charged with two counts of knowingly operating with a suspended license causing death, two counts of knowingly operating with a suspended license causing great bodily harm, possession of THC, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
