The city of Manitowoc is under a snow emergency after it was declared by Mayor Justin Nickels.
That means no parking is allowed on city streets between 1 am and 6 am from overnight Friday into Saturday morning and Saturday into Sunday morning.
A $75 ticket will be given to anyone still parked on the street. The city reminds residents that even if their street has been plowed or appears plowed, the parking ban is still in effect on every city street.
They also ask drivers to stay 75 feet behind plow trucks with their blades down.
You can also find snowplow routes on the city of Manitowoc’s website to know when plows could go through.
