The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection (DATCP) is now accepting grant applications.
$27 million in funding is available to those who submit infrastructure or equipment application requests through March 6th at 5 p.m.
Grant projects may fund construction, equipment, delivery vehicles, storage, food processing equipment, and building renovations.
The projects must also aim to expand middle-of-the-food supply chain capacity and offer more and better market opportunities to small- and mid-sized agricultural producers.
