A village in Manitowoc County is partnering with Progress Lakeshore.
Executive Director Jamie Zastrow says the village of Cleveland is joining as a municipal partner, meaning Progress Lakeshore will provide some specialized services that larger communities have, but the village might not like a community development department.
“We help them achieve their goals that they have laid out in a comprehensive plan,” she described. “Or any strategic goals or project management and things like that.”
She says Progress will be able to market opportunities in the village for some development projects while still helping businesses that already reside in the village.
Zastrow says she’s very excited to work with the village.
