There will be some partial and full lane closures on Interstate 43 late tomorrow morning (January 17th) for a semi-truck removal.
Starting at 11 am, the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office says I-43 northbound lanes from Highway 42 in Sheboygan County to County Highway XX in the village of Cleveland will be partially closed for one to two hours.
But after that partial closure, both northbound lanes will be fully closed after that until 5 pm. The closure will allow crews to remove a semi-tractor trailer from the median at MM 136 in Manitowoc County safely.
Traffic will be detoured from Highway 42 to County Highway XX in Cleveland, and motorists will be able to enter back onto I-43 after that.
The semi could be one of many that caused the interstate to close last weekend because of the massive winter storm that dropped a lot of snow.
Sheriff’s Deputies thank drivers for their patience and understanding.
