A grant through the city of Manitowoc is now available.
The Discover Manitowoc Grant Program through Visit Manitowoc and the city’s Department of Tourism provides funding assistance to bring events to fruition and more visitors to events in the city through marketing.
Once applications for the grant are turned in, they will be reviewed by the city’s Room Tax Commission at their March meeting and will be awarded by March 31st.
Event ideas should be unique and new and not something that’s already been established, plus should draw people from outside of Manitowoc to come to the city.
Applications can be turned in now until February 15th and can be found on the City of Manitowoc’s website.
