The latest AP High School Prep Basketball Polls show several Northeast Wisconsin schools receiving recognition from a statewide panel of sportswriters and broadcasters.
Kiel remains second in The Division Three Boys poll, with defending state champion Brillion holding firm at number four. Xavier (Appleton) moves up from sixth to fifth.
The Kohler Blue Bombers are ranked fourth in Division Four, with Sheboygan Area Lutheran tied with Milwaukee Juneau for ninth. St. Mary Catholic received votes.
In Division One, defending state champion De Pere remains number one. Appleton North is fourth, with Oshkosh North receiving votes, while in Division Two,
Ashwaubenon of The FRCC cracks the poll for the first time this season, checking in at number nine. Fox Valley Lutheran is sixth.
In the girls’ rankings, Oostburg is second in Division Three, with Sheboygan Falls and Xavier (Appleton) ninth and tenth, respectively.
In Division Four, The Kewaunee Storm debut at number nine. St. Mary Catholic is third, and Sheboygan Area Lutheran is sixth.
Kimberly is fourth in Division One, with Neenah and Hartford Union tied for seventh and De Pere receiving votes, while Lourdes Academy (Oshkosh) is seventh in Division Five.
