The warmer-than-normal winter weather is starting to cause some issues with local events, including at the Manitowoc County Historical Society.
They’ve announced that this Saturday’s Sleigh Rally has been canceled because of the warm weather and lack of snow.
The historical society says the safety of the teamsters, horses, and guests is their priority.
But while you won’t be able to see horses pulling sleighs, visitors will be allowed to take a stroll through historic Pinecrest Village from 10:00 a.m. to 4:0 p.m.
It’s $5 for admission, but members always get in for free.
The village is located at 924 Pinecrest Road in Manitowoc.
