Citing low numbers and injuries, Roncalli High School has decided to what Athletic Director Nathan Kaderabek calls a tough decision: discontinue the JV Girls basketball season.
Kaderabek says the decision came after a discussion with the coaching staff where it was agreed that they (Roncalli) could not support a team without hurting the varsity team.
The Jets host Sheboygan Falls Friday night with varsity tip time scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Hangar.
